Hey y'all and welcome to me,

JOMILLA (juh-mill-UH) DENAE (duh-NAY)

I say me because that's what I want this show to be, an extension of me.

For many years I suffered in silence. In my spirituality, relationships, career...in life in general and in this season I hear God saying it's finally time to open my mouth and speak my truth loudly and boldly!

I used to wait for things to get better before speaking up, always saying, "I'm healing." The healing process is ongoing, never fully complete, and often involves difficult moments. I wasn't ready to share those parts then. Close friends, family, and my Finsta followers (hey y'all) knew some of what I was going through, but no one knew the full story. Now, even though my growth isn't finished, I feel comfortable enough to take you all along on this journey with me.

I created the JOMILLA DENAE podcast for myself. I want to have deep, insightful conversations about God without the judgment and condemnation often associated with religion. I love God, but by orthodox standards, I'm not the ideal representative of Christianity or any other religion.

I can only speak on my relationship with God, and to me, it is very real.

He saw me through all the tough times throughout my journey, even when I tried to turn against Him. He means a lot to me and I feel it's my calling to share with the world what He has done in my life. My hope is that you can witness my journey and gain insights about your own.

This is an idea I've had in my spirit for years finally coming to life so of course I'm scared, but more excited that it's finally here! I pray you receive me with love, compassion and grace in the same way I would with you.
